Export container freight rates hit a new high

According to CCTV Finance, today, the Shanghai Shipping Exchange announced the latest export container freight index. Among them, the Shanghai Export Container Index (SCFI) 4,196.24 points, which represents the spot price, continued to hit a record high, up 96.24 points or 2.35% from last week, and 413% from last year's lowest point of 818 points. Recently, affected by the mutated strain of Delta's new coronavirus, the epidemic situation in various countries has rebounded, and the tightness of the global supply chain has continued to intensify.
